Project: Wastewater Regionalization Project, Littleton, CO

Roxborough and Lockheed Martin both owned and operated wastewater treatment facilities located in close proximity to each other, and both entities were facing the prospect of expensive expansions and tougher regulations. TST Infrastructure’s team developed regional infrastructure concepts and designed two lift stations and a 14-mile pipeline to eliminate the need for the operation of two wastewater treatment plants located above Chatfield Reservoir. Conveying the wastewater to a large existing wastewater treatment plant enabled both entities to reduce future regulatory burdens and compliance risks, stabilized the cost of service, and eliminated two discharges to Chatfield Reservoir.
